Museum in Zugdidi was opened in Palace by Prince and there were demonstrated Georgian-European instruments; various pieces of art and models were found during the archeological excavations. Nowadays, 44475 exponents are kept in Zugdidi’s Ethnographic Museum which dates back from the beginning of the 19th century to the 1st century BC. Among them special place is taken by religious valuables, works of art, and European relics of Royal and Imperial Palaces.
Nokalakevi is city-fortress of western Georgia, situated in Senaki Municipality. Exactly in this place existed city from ancient times. Greek historians mention it as Archaepolis and in Georgian sources it is called “Tsikhegoji”.
