Gori-Uplistsikhe trip gives you the opportunity to visit the state museum of one of the leaders of Soviet Union, Joseph Stalin, housing up to 60 000 exhibits.
Museum consists of the memorial house where Staling was born, exhibition building with the tower and Stalin’s personal carriage which he used during his travel in Teheran, Yalta and Potsdam. Museum also contains Stalin’s personal belongings.
Uplistsikhe is a cave town first mentioned in the historical sources in the VII century and is remarkable with its unique structure and combinations. Uplistsikhe is translated in Georgian as “God’s Fortress”.
